Hi. I’m Julie Hirschfeld, Ph.D.

I became a therapist to help people cope better with life’s challenges and live with greater joy and meaning.   I provide the support to help you become more attuned to your own authentic needs while working toward healthy connection with the important people in your life.

Background & Approach

With advanced training and decades of exposure to many cultures, races, languages and thought patterns, businesses and professions, I am able to connect with people from many different backgrounds.  In addition, I have specialized experience with developmental and health profiles such as  giftedness in adults and children, medical conditions, and sensory integration and adult ADHD.

I support the emotional growth of men and women in our society, recognizing the impact of gender on almost every facet of our self-concept and relationships.

I work with people for whom religious observance is core to their identity, and offer sensitive support to those who are seeking greater health, balance, or connection in their spiritual or religious lives.

I feel privileged to be able to help people become more energized and fulfilled in their personal lives and careers, and more joyful and connected in their relationships. I welcome the chance to accompany you in a collaboration based on warmth, safety, and trust.
